Today, the Syrian Arab People's Committee for Supporting the Palestinian People and Resisting the Zionist Project and the Al-Quds International Foundation Syria organized a symposium entitled "Disbanding the Alexandretta Brigade and the Partition of Palestine" in Dar Al-Baath in Damascus.
The participants in the symposium, which was moderated by Committee Chairman Saber Falhout, stressed the need to raise voices to pressure the international community regarding standing with the Palestinian people and their rights to restore their land and encourage the Arab national youth movement for the Palestinian cause, noting the role of the resistance axis in supporting this cause.
In his lecture, the head of the Syrian Association of the United Nations, Dr. George Jabbour, stressed the issue of compatibility of the Zionist project with the interests of Western countries in the fragmentation of the countries of the region, stressing that the peoples are clinging to the will of resistance against attempts to legitimize the occupation and Judaize Palestine and attempts to Turkic Iskenderun.
Head of the Political Bureau of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party, Dr. Safwan Salman, pointed out the need to focus work on preserving the national identity and memory for future Arab generations to complete the march of defending the rights of the Palestinian people and restoring all usurped Arab lands.
The Secretary-General of the National Democratic Solidarity Party, Dr. Salim Al-Kharrat, reiterated in his lecture that the issue of Palestine will remain the central and core issue for all Arabs, and the right of return is an inalienable right that we will not neglect, while Dr. Shahinaz Fakoush stressed that Liwa Alexandretta and all the usurped Arab lands will not be liberated except through resistance.
