A first Napoleon sale in NFT

INFO LE FIGARO- Imperial Art, the international market leader for works from the Empire, is launching an auction that is both physical and digital. Appointment, December 2, online.


Selling Napoleonic souvenirs in NFT, the idea didn't take long to materialize.

As the year of the Bicentenary of the Emperor's death draws to a close, the Imperial Art gallery, the best specialist in the field, has taken action.

It chose the date well, December 2, for the 216th anniversary of the Battle of Austerlitz and the 217th of the Emperor's coronation, to put online four pieces from its stock.

This is a first for testing this promising market but which remains, as we know, fragile and volatile.

Very new, it still lacks hindsight.

Few or no buyers who have not yet resold their recently purchased NFT works, and sometimes very expensive.

The Napoleonic sale will be done on the OpenSea sales platform and in Etherum (ETH).

It will last six days, until December 8.

Auction closes at midnight.
