National and heritage lyrical pieces presented by the band of the Syndicate of Artists in the southern region and a group of young people within the second musical gathering of the late artist Ali Othman on the stage of the House of Culture in Daraa today.
The audience of the forum, which is being held as part of the celebration of the Syrian Culture Days, followed the songs “Your Being with Us” and “Jina Al-Dar” with a heritage link. Young people, Diaa Al-Sharif, Aws Abboud, Ibrahim Jamous, Tasneem Al-Nabulsi and Hosni Harfouche, performed patriotic and heritage songs individually, which were well received by the audience.
Daraa Culture Director Adnan Al-Falah pointed out in a statement to SANA Cultural Center the importance of musical and lyrical gatherings with the aim of showing the energies and creativity of a promising and reliable generation in the next stage, pointing out that the Directorate of Culture is trying, through the celebration of the Syrian cultural days, to bring joy and pleasure to the hearts of people.
The leader of the band, the branch of the Syndicate of Artists in Daraa, Muhammad Abazid, stated in a similar statement that the band is working on presenting paragraphs and musical pieces that mimic the homeland and heritage to draw a smile on the lips of the audience.
