The European Union has imposed very strict surveillance on fruit imported from South Africa, where the fungus that hails lemons and oranges is particularly active.
And is worried about the import of fruits less controlled by the United Kingdom since Brexit, via Northern Ireland which keeps access to the internal market of the EU.
