The Deputy Minister of Transport, Ammar Kamal El-Din, discussed with the Regional Adviser for Transport and Logistics at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, Dr. Yarub Badr, in a virtual work meeting via video technology.
Technical and strategic cooperation between the two sides to contribute to the integration of the transport sectors with the objectives of economic and social development.
The two sides discussed the international multimodal transport law and preliminary observations on some articles, stressing the necessity of exchanging ideas and visions to advance the transport sector in Syria, rebuild it and shine it in the next stage.
The meeting concluded with the technical teams between the two sides following up on the observations that were discussed today on the draft international transport law and the extent of their conformity and suitability to the various transport sectors in Syria to be approved later.
