Residents of the Beverly Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles discovered yesterday morning (Sunday) that unknown individuals had left antisemitic leaflets in their yards.
Local police noted that around 6 a.m. one resident reported "receiving a leaflet containing hate speech in his front yard."
The timing, on the first day of Hanukkah, lit red lights, and the police decided to reinforce the forces in the area.
Today, in one of the only Jewish-majority cities outside of Israel, this screed was distributed on residents' doorsteps.
The world's oldest extant form of racism rears its ugly head on Erev Chanukah.
The response to this hatred is a simple, but unmistakable: "Am Yisrael Chai."

"The leaflets contained words of hatred and propaganda against the plague of the corona and the Jewish people," and were enclosed in plastic bags containing rice so that they would not fly and disperse in the wind.
The flyers were distributed in dozens of homes.
"Police staff and public servants scanned the area and collected the leaflets. We are continuing the investigation and trying to identify those responsible for this disturbing act."
Police also said that "they will increase the tours in the area to ensure the peace of the residents, due to Hanukkah."
The disturbing incident is being investigated as a hate crime.
The leaflets, whose picture was published on the Internet, included the Star of David emblem and the cult of the devil, and listed the names of senior Jewish officials in the major pharmaceutical companies.
Under the heading "All Aspects of the Jewish Agenda and the Corona" the names of senior executives in the pharmaceutical companies were listed and all were labeled "Jewish".
In addition, the leaflet claims that the pharmaceutical companies cooperate with the Jews and also claims that "we are Gentiles of Shabbat whose purpose is to carry out the will of the Jews."
