Corona incidence over 1000: These hotspots in Bavaria are going into lockdown

Update from November 24th:

The 7-day incidence in Bavaria has only decreased slightly compared to Tuesday.

From 644.9 it went down to 644.3.

This is certainly not yet a trend reversal, but something has also happened in terms of hotspot regions in Bavaria.

Nine cities and districts reported a value over 1000 on Wednesday - yesterday it was ten.

Bavaria is still mostly glowing pink.

But the purple colored areas with an incidence above 1000 have become less.

In the past few days, one could see clearly in the Passau district that the incidence process is very dynamic. On Monday the circle was still below 1000, then yesterday it made a leap up to 1135.7. Now he has fallen out of the club of the purple areas on the RKI map. Today an incidence of 902.5 is reported there. According to the RKI, Deggendorf is also below 1000 (975.9) again. However, in order for the lockdown for hotspot regions that will apply from today to be lifted again, the value must remain below 1000 for five days at a time. The city of Rosenheim has been added. Here the value is 1168.4.

The downward trend also continues in the state capital.

Yesterday Munich reported a value of 681.9.

Today the metropolis on the Isar made a big leap to 594.8.

A lockdown seems to be a long way off.

Corona hotspots in Bavaria: Ten districts exceed the 1000 mark

Update from November 23:

With the district of Passau, the number of districts in Bavaria with an incidence of over 1000 increases by another.

There are now ten districts that are considered Corona hotspots.

The jump from Passau, however, was enormous.

A value of 971.8 was reported from there on Monday.

Tuesday it was already 1135.7.

With the district of Freyung-Grafenau, the nationwide leader comes from Bavaria again.

The RKI reported an incidence of 1614.4.

The state capital is currently developing against the trend. Munich recorded a value of 727.2 on Sunday. This fell to 705.3 on Monday and is now 681.9. Whether the falling numbers are only on the weekend, when it is well known that not all cases are reported, remains to be seen in the course of the week.

First report from November 22nd:

Munich - According to the color symbolism, the color purple stands for loneliness, sadness and renunciation, among other things.

Did the person who created the color palette for the RKI Corona dashboard already have that in mind?

Because there purple stands for a city or district with an incidence * of over 1000 - so so-called hotspots.

And from next Wednesday it could actually get very lonely there and people will have to do without a lot.

Because then lockdown measures will take effect again in these areas, as they last took place in the spring.

Corona in Bavaria: Nine circles have an incidence value of 1000

According to the Robert Koch Institute * (RKI), on Monday, November 22nd, nine circles are above the decisive mark of 1000. Freyung-Grafenau is the undisputed inglorious first place in Bavaria and second in Germany.

An incidence value of 1569.8 is reported there.

There are also eight other districts from Upper and Lower Bavaria above this border: Rottal-Inn (1426.9), Landshut (1157.6), Berchtesgadener Land (1150.2), Mühldorf am Inn (1128.1), Traunstein (1121.2), Regen (1028.3), Deggendorf (1004.4) and Dingolfing-Landau (1001.6).

Southeast Bavaria in particular is colored purple on the RKI map.

Here the incidences are over 1000. There is a threat of lockdown.

Not far from the 1000 is the district of Rosenheim *.

An incidence value of 979.3 was reported there.

The districts of Passau (971.8) and Altötting (939.5) are also at risk.

Since the number of infections is currently climbing so rapidly, you actually have to look at the regions beyond the 800.

The LK Unterallgäu (872.3), the LK Cham (871.2), the city of Rosenheim (863.3), the LK Ostallgäu (862.5), the district of Bamberg (822.4) are currently scarred by 900 , the LK Neuburg-Schrobenhausen (815.5) and the LK Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen (814.8).

The state capital is currently in a comparatively good position.

Munich reports a value * of (705.3).

But even here the numbers could shoot up quickly.

Corona in Bavaria: Lockdown threatens in hotspot regions

But what does it mean for the people in the affected areas if the value is over 1000. A lockdown * will apply again in the hotspot regions from Wednesday. That is what the ministers want to decide together with head of state Markus Söder * (CSU) in their weekly round tomorrow, Tuesday. Then there is an end to leisure, sports and cultural events in the 1000-meter areas. The catering and accommodation establishments have to close. Lectures are now only held digitally. The trade should remain open, but there should be customer limits. However, service providers such as hairdressers have to lock the shop. Schools and daycare centers, on the other hand, should definitely remain open. The lockdown should only end again when the incidence value is below 1000 for five days in a row.
