A fatal road accident occurred early this Monday morning in Vigneux-sur-Seine, in Essonne.
According to our information, a cyclist was run over by a dump truck at the crossroads between rue de la Longueraie and rue de la Bourbonnaie, near the national 6, in circumstances which remain to be determined.

Around 10 a.m., the Longueraie road was still closed to access.
It is blocked by an orange vehicle on which the "accident" light signal flashes.
Further on, in the rue de la Bourbonnaie, in front of the Le Royal de Vigneux restaurant, police officers surround the scene with a white sheet to protect the victim from the gaze of passers-by.

The first observations are made around the body of the cyclist, which is evacuated in the wake.
The truck driver in custody
A tow truck then embarks the imposing gray dump truck, belonging to a rental company for dumpsters, waste and rubble.
The driver of the truck was taken into custody, said a police source.
"His blood alcohol and narcotics screening was negative," continues this source.
According to the first elements of the investigation, the driver of the truck would have passed the cyclist, before falling back and hitting her by causing her to fall.
The investigation was entrusted to the Draveil police station.
