Against the weak Detroit (16: 4), King James dominated the game with 33 points and 9 assists that got his teammates into things.
He received wide assistance from Russell Westbrook who scored 25 points and also handed out 9 aces, and also Anthony Davis, who scored 24 points and dropped 10 rebounds contributed his share to the not-so-simple win.

Jeremy Grant did his best to hold the Pistons in the picture with 32 points, but help from Frank Jackson with 17 points and the double-double of the No. 1 draft pick, Cade Cunningham - 15 points and 11 rebounds - was not enough.
