One of the great challenges that the next president of Honduras will face is the high unemployment rate, especially among the young population, said Carlos Hernández, director of the Association for a More Just Society.
Of the more than 5 million Hondurans eligible to vote in this Sunday's general elections, more than 2 million 470,000 are between 18 and 30 years old.
Of them, almost a million do not work or study, according to Hernández.
