Yad Laachim has delivered hundreds of Hanukkah kits, including menorahs and candle lighting, to Jews in enemy countries, including Iraq, Yemen and Kurdistan.
As mentioned, the assessments were delivered by a special team of the Yad Laachim organization, which is in contact with them throughout the year and helps them strengthen their Jewish identity.

Due to the high demand, this year increased the number of kits usually sent to countries.
"Jews in Arab countries often live in fear and observe their Judaism in secret," says Nir, the team coordinator who handled the delivery of kits.
Nir adds: "Many times we are asked to deliver various other shipments, which are related to Jewish symbols, that the residents of these countries have no way of obtaining."
Rabbi Shmuel Lifshitz, of the Yad Laachim management, says: "We well remember the slogan of our association - we do not give up on any Jew. This is also the reason why we make supreme efforts to reach every Jew who turns to us and asks for our help in this matter."
