Vienna-Sana
The discussions of the joint committee on the Iranian nuclear deal between Iran and the major powers resumed in the Austrian capital Vienna today, with a focus on canceling the US embargo imposed on Iran.
And the Iranian news agency IRNA reported that the current meeting of the joint committee began its work at the level of assistant foreign ministers and directors of political affairs at the Iranian Foreign Ministry and other member states of the 4 plus one group.
The meeting will be chaired on the Iranian side by Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani, and on the European side by Enrique Mora, Assistant Secretary-General of the Foreign Service of the European Union.
Baqeri Kani had announced earlier that Iran's first goal in the talks is to cancel all sanctions imposed on it, pointing out that the second goal of participating in the talks is to facilitate Tehran's use of nuclear science within the rights of the Iranian people.
