The parish association and the community of Moosach (Ebersberg district) complain about a particularly bold break-in: a pilgrimage church is hit.
Moosach
- "Brachial" is what the police called the perpetrators' approach: On the night of Sunday, 1st Advent, strangers pried open the outer door of the sacristy in the pilgrimage church of Maria Altenburg (municipality of Moosach).
Burglary in the pilgrimage church: perpetrators steal valuables from the altar
According to the officials, the perpetrators stole silver and gold measuring utensils from the sacristy and even from the altar.
The amount of booty damage cannot be precisely limited, but is probably in the higher four-digit range.
The investigators estimate the property damage to the demolished door at around 2500 euros.
So far, there have been no reports of perpetrators.
Anyone who has observed something that can help clear up the crime can reach the Ebersberg police station on Tel. (08092) 8268-0.
