Daraa-Sana
The Directorate of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform in Daraa started the rehabilitation work of an area of 1,800 dunums within the Nassib border crossing.
The Director of Agriculture, Engineer Bassam Al-Hashish, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the works include leveling the soil areas, planting squares, bisects and median islands with trees, and pruning and cutting existing trees, indicating that the aim of this is to restore the aesthetic view of the crossing.
He added that the works are now being carried out through agricultural machinery and workers, stressing the necessity of the participation of service departments to complete the work at the required speed, explaining that work in the next stage will be carried out through an operational plan for the site in which service agencies participate.
