Daraa-Sana
The Directorate of Education in Daraa has fully or partially rehabilitated a number of schools in cooperation with international organizations and the local community.
The head of the school buildings department in the directorate, Engineer Radi Aloni, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the directorate, through the reconstruction budget, completed the rehabilitation of the 10th Busr Al-Harir School and Al-Shahid Al-Kanakry in Nawa, and started the rehabilitation work of the second Maliha Al-Atash School.
He added that the directorate, through its investment budget, renovated the commercial secondary school in Bosra al-Sham and al-Shahid al-Wadi in the village of Mal and al-Masiriya for basic education, and Sisun and the daughters of Nawa, the second cycle, indicating that the financial achievement of the investment budget of the Directorate of Education reached 100 percent, spending 550 million Syrian pounds during the current year.
Al-Woni indicated that the local community has equipped 18 schools in different areas, some of which are currently invested and others are out of service, including Busr Al-Harir and Al-Qadisiyah Schools in Daraa.
He pointed out that the directorate, as part of an emergency plan for Daraa al-Balad, partially equipped five schools with the support of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, and conducted maintenance work for Al-Sa’a’i schools, first and second circles in Al-Sahiliya, and Martyr Muhammad Hamdan, first circle in Sheikh Miskin and Atman for boys, and Fadel Al-Aboud, first circle in Al-Naima. The directorate also rehabilitated 50 health facilities in different schools distributed throughout the governorate.
