On September 15, Honduras celebrated its bicentennial with a military parade and cultural events, organized by President Hernández.
That same day opposition groups protested in Tegucigalpa after ensuring that the country still lacks independence and that this government has impoverished the population, in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic.
