Three acquittals and two indictments were decided by the preliminary hearing of the trial for the death of Emanuele Scieri, the paratrooper of the Folgore who died in circumstances not yet clarified at the Gamerra barracks in Pisa on 13 August 1999. The judge ordered the non-place to proceed for the non-commissioned officer of the army Andrea Antico accused of aggravated voluntary murder, for not having committed the fact, and for the former officers of the Folgore, Enrico Celentano and Salvatore Romondia, because the fact does not exist.
Instead, the two former corporals Alessandro Panella and Luigi Zabara have been sent to trial.
The trial will begin in April.
