The deputy head of Sudan's sovereign council, Muhammad Hamdan Deklo, said last night (Sunday) in an interview with the pro - Saudi Arabian network that Israel had assisted the government in exposing a terrorist cell in the country.
Deklo added that relations between Sudan and Israel are ongoing and will continue.
He said Israel had provided Sudan with a great deal of information as part of its security assistance.

Prime Minister Abdullah Hamduk was later reinstated after being placed under house arrest.
