Stiftung Warentest has tested numerous smartphones and has given its verdict.
One manufacturer in particular lets the competition look pale in the ranking.
Berlin - If you want to get a new smartphone, you are spoiled for choice.
The selection of brands and models is now huge.
How should one decide?
The
Stiftung Warentest
provides a remedy.
She put 18 smartphones through their paces - and received a clear result.
One manufacturer is clearly one step ahead and even secures the first four places in the ranking.
Apple wins the smartphone test
The front runner in the
Stiftung Warentest
ranking is Apple's iPhone 13 Pro Max. The camera in this model was particularly impressive.
The various functions and the image quality make the lenses of the competition look old.
The testers were also impressed by the battery life of 52.5 hours.
Overall, Apple's current workhorse scores 1.6 “good”.
However, the tech giant should like it a little better than “good” that that wasn't the only good rating in the ranking.
Other Apple phones follow in second, third and fourth place.
Namely the iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13, and iPhone 13 mini.
With its latest model, Apple has obviously landed a hit again.
Apple: Competitor Samsung can only be found in fifth place
Only in fifth place is a model from the main competitor Samsung.
The Galaxy A52s 5G also received the test seal “good” with a grade of 1.9.
The price should be particularly convincing here.
While you have to shell out a whopping 1,250 euros for Apple's most expensive model, the Samsung winner costs only 435 euros.
So you can definitely mark this cell phone as a price-performance tip.
It costs half as much as Apple's cheapest device in the test.
The iPhone 13 mini is priced at 800 euros and also scored 1.9.
So if you want a test-winning model, you have to dig deeper into your pocket.
But that's not unusual with Apple products.
