The police team came first in the Republic Championship for the Physical Fitness Challenge, which was held by the Federation of Body Building and Physical Strength for both men and women categories in Lattakia, with the participation of 74 male and female players.
The Central Police team came first with 3101 points, followed by the Lattakia team with 2485 points, and then the Damascus team with 2444 points.
The results of the women's singles resulted in Sherine Deeb, Rao'a Richa and Rana Shaher winning the first three places, respectively, while Anas Shamma, Ammar Hamdan and Ahmed Khallouf won the first three places in the men's category.
Head of the Federation of Body Building and Physical Strength Manar Heikal, in a statement to SANA, referred to the great participation that the tournament enjoyed, especially as it is the first of its kind to challenge the physical fitness, noting the talents produced by the tournament and the high level provided by the players.
