The Jerusalem District Commander, Superintendent Doron Turgeman, commented on the development of the investigation and the filing of the plaintiff's statement, saying: " The State Attorney's Office. We did not spare resources and resources in the investigation and even after many years, the investigators did not give up striving for the truth and carried out countless significant, complex and creative investigative actions that led to the breakthrough and exposure of the truth behind his absence. This is further evidence that we will continue to do everything in our power to reach every killer and solve every murder case even after many years. "I am confident that the great effort that the investigators put in around the clock will lead to the end of the affair, to justice, to the execution of justice with those involved and with the exception of a balm for the family members."

Earlier today, the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court partially granted the request of Israel Today and the Here Corporation and today (Monday) allowed the names of a small number of the suspects arrested as part of the investigation into the murder and abduction cases of the boy Nissim Sheetrit in 1986 and Avi Edri in 1990.

One of the suspects is the son-in-law of the cult leader Eliezer Berland, Zvi Zucker.

According to the suspect, Zucker was at the head of the modesty guards at the time.

Baruch Sharvit's name was also allowed to be published.

Encouraged by Berland, Sharvit gave investigators a version, linked himself to Sheetrit's murder, indicted some of the suspects arrested, repeated the events of that day and even took investigators to the forest where Sheetrit was allegedly beaten and buried.

Sharvit and Zucker are also suspected of the murder of Avi Edri, along with the mayor who was arrested last week, and who allegedly disguised himself as a woman to lure Edri to the place where his assailants were waiting for him, including another suspect who was also arrested last week.

Police noted in the two-year detention extension hearings that they took an active part in the murder.
