The play The Last Supper combines the only performance of the people of Aleppo within the activity of the Syrian Culture Days between police literature, suspense and social criticism in a way that differs from the prevailing style of performances.
The play, hosted by the National House of Books Theater in Aleppo, was written by the young author Salah Taher Al-Tayl and directed by Dr. Hazem Haddad.
He pointed out, in a statement to SANA's reporter, that the story of the show revolves around a group of people living in a shelter who are being exploited by one of them until one of the young women who lives in the shelter eliminates everyone who was exploiting them with the logic of loss of reason and revenge.
The young actress, Rama Karta, spoke about her role, which embodies exploitation and love of money, indicating the importance of such works, even though they are not consumed theatrically because they present purposeful ideas.
