Tonight (Sunday) we will light the first candle in the menorah on the occasion of Hanukkah, where we modem to God for the miracles he performed with us and for the victory of the Jews over the Greeks.
In the Western Wall plaza, the central menorah was placed, which is located closest to where the miracle occurred - the Temple.
The magnificent menorah is made entirely of bronze casting, is more than two meters high and about two meters wide, weighs about one ton, and lasts about seven months.
The Hanukkah candles will be lit as a mehadrin custom from the mehadrin, in olive oil, in special tools that are resistant to wind and rain, which will allow the menorah to light throughout the night.
