- 3040 corona vaccinations in 18 hours: That is the extremely successful balance of the vaccination campaign, which was organized by the Hebertshausen community in cooperation with the Dachau MVZ last Friday and Saturday.
In addition to the citizens, who had secured an appointment in advance for a first, second or booster vaccination, 870 citizens came spontaneously to the school gym, especially on Saturday, also from outside the district.
Because the vaccination campaign had got around in the social networks.
However, this did not result in problems or long queues in front of the vaccination center.
"20 vaccinations per hour were planned in each of the eight vaccination routes, but we vaccinate so quickly that even people without an appointment can easily be pushed in", explained Mayor Richard Reischl, who was on site on the two vaccination days.
"We also have enough cans and there is no waiting time."
In fact, those willing to vaccinate were on their way home less than 20 minutes after entering the sports hall, already vaccinated.
The process worked perfectly because many volunteers helped out.
The helpers from the four local fire brigades had set up the vaccination routes and also helped with the organization.
"We have divided all the tasks and work in three-hour shifts," explained Michael Zimmermann, commander of the Prittlbach fire brigade.
Medical professionals such as nurse Xandra Müller from Hebertshausen also volunteered: "I think the campaign is good, and every vaccination counts."
The vaccination campaign also ran quickly because "most of them are already very well informed and do not need advice," explains team doctor Dr.
Paul Delker from the Dachau MVZ, which took over the medical part.
There was only praise from those willing to vaccinate who came to the school gym on Saturday afternoon.
“I wouldn't have a vaccination appointment for the booster until January, but it's faster here,” said a man from Hebertshausen.
Even a citizen who says of himself that he is “actually an opponent of vaccinations” has now been vaccinated “because there is no other way”.
And was glad that it was possible quickly and without a lot of effort, "so that I don't change my mind".
A woman had come from Ismaning and had an appointment with the family doctor for the third injection in January.
“I'm afraid I'll be halfway through the winter without a booster vaccination.” When she found out that you can come to Hebertshausen without an appointment, “I immediately got into the car and drove over”.
Adrian Steffan came from Munich: "In the city it is very difficult to get a vaccination appointment." The Braun family from Weichs didn’t get that far.
"I read about the campaign on the Internet," explains son Josef Braun.
He immediately informed his parents and sister, made appointments, and now they are all getting their third vaccination.
"If possible before the new virus variant from South Africa comes to us".
The Brauns expressly praise the vaccination campaign in Hebertshausen.
The great interest shows, says Stefan Braun, "people get vaccinated, but the offer must also be there."
