The Ministry of Defense and Shikun VeBinui signed an agreement today (Monday) to establish the IDF Intelligence Campus in the Negev. The agreement was signed by the Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Maj.

The ceremony, which took place today, was attended by Defense Minister Bnei Gantz, Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi, Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Minister of Culture and Sports Hili Trooper, Deputy Defense Minister Alon Schuster, Chief of the Armed Forces General Aharon Haliva, heads of southern authorities "Housing and Construction".

According to the agreement, Shikun VeBinui will plan, finance, establish and operate the intelligence complex to be established at Likit Junction.

The campus will house about 12,000 soldiers and officers from collection, intelligence, cyber and technology units, as well as the headquarters units of the intelligence division.

During the ceremony, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Defense and the campus company - the Campus for Intelligence, Decryption and Cyber ​​Ltd. - a dedicated company wholly owned by Shikun VeBinui Ltd., on the concession agreement for the establishment of the Intelligence Campus.

The agreement with the franchisee includes financing, planning, construction and operation of the base for a period of 26 years.
