The two-man parliamentary group of the bourgeoisie in the Hohenlinden municipal council complains about bias and lack of information.

However, your applications will be rejected.

Hohenlinden - Johannes Rumpfinger, 3rd Mayor of Hohenlinden and spokesman for the Green Party, you could see the deep puffing under the FFP2 face mask, which inflated accordingly.

At some point it was too much for him in the local council meeting on Monday evening in the Wendlandhaus, he spoke up, took off his mask and said: “I think it's too bad to sit down here and listen to such nonsense.

I would like to design. "

I think my time is too bad to listen to such junk.

3. Mayor Johannes Rumpfinger

With “such a junk” he meant the motions of the parliamentary group of the bourgeoisie for municipal council resolutions that have long since been made.

Partly from the still old body, before the new municipal council came into office after the 2020 local elections.

Topic: the construction of a new childcare facility (children's house) on a plot of land next to the school and rectory.

Hohenlinden: focus on children's home

In summary, Josef Neumeier and Martin Huber from the Bürgerlichen Hohenlinden's mayor Ludwig Maurer (non-partisan voter group Hohenlinden, ÜWH) accuse the administration of insufficient information from the municipal council. To this day, for example, they are waiting for the results of a soil survey of the property. In addition, a plot of land next to the children's home is owned by the mayor, which is why his bias in the decisions made should have been examined.

The municipal administration wrote statements on these applications, which 2nd Mayor Thomas Riedl (CSU) read out at the municipal council meeting on Monday evening.

He had taken over the chairmanship for these agenda items in order to establish neutrality, since allegations were also directed directly at Mayor Ludwig Maurer.

All decisions on the children's home are legally valid.

Quote from the management's opinion

In the statements, the administration makes it clear that everything was lawfully received with regard to the resolutions and that there were no advantages or disadvantages. On February 17, 2020, the municipal council decided on the future location of the children's home. The results of the votes on September 27, 2021 for the decision to set up the development plan and for the appraisal report were each achieved with a clear majority (14: 1 and 15: 0). Although three people personally participated in the voting (Mayor Ludwig Maurer as well as his daughter and sister, who are both also members of the municipal council), these votes were "not relevant to the decision," according to the administration's statement. Their conclusion is: "All decisions on the children's home are legally valid."

In the session on Monday evening, the municipal council rejected the citizens' proposals by a large majority.

"These requests do not help us to be able to talk constructively about the children's home," said Winfried Rohrbach (Greens).

Hohenlinden: Resolutions have long since been made

Previously, Judith Ortenburger (SPD), who, like Martin Huber von der Bürgerliche, has been a new member of the municipal council since May 2020, complained that she felt too little informed by the administration. She only recently realized that the decision on the location of the children's home had long been made. This in turn caused headshakes and laughter from many of the other council members - the decision on the location was made on February 17, 2020. When Ortenburger proposed to re-vote on the location, because there was now a council with a new composition, you saw how yourself for some council members, the FFP2 masks greatly expanded and contracted again. The accompanying groans were muffled, but clearly audible.

2. In the course of the discussion, Mayor Thomas Riedl submitted the procedural motion for the end of the debate, which was followed by a clear majority.

With a view to the bourgeoisie and the SPD, Riedl emphasized that the administration did not hold back any information and that you could come to the town hall at any time and get information there.

And: "The old town council decided on this location for the children's home, we should make the best of it."

A completely different topic: One of the most colorful and well-known Christmas houses in Germany is in Hohenlinden.
