Memmingen - The gynecological team of doctors and nurses, together with their happy parents Stefanie Weiß and Fabian Gössler from Warmisried in Unterallgäu, are looking forward to the 2000th birth this year.
The clinic announced this in a press release.
Last Saturday, November 27th, little Felix Weiß saw the light of day at 9:23 p.m. in the Memmingen Clinic.
Felix weighed 3,805 grams and was 50 centimeters tall at birth.
It is the young couple's first child.
The family received many congratulations in the delivery room and maternity ward.
As in previous years, this indicates a further increase in the birth rate at the Memmingen Clinic.
"Obstetrics enjoys a very good reputation regionally and nationally," says the head physician at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics, PD Dr.
Felix Flock.
"This is due to the great commitment of all employees, the high quality and the sensitive care of the patients."
In 2020 the number of births was 2127. For comparison: In 2015 it was 1,628 (more on this at: www.klinikum-memmingen.de/kliniken-institute/klinik-fuer-gynaekologie-und-geburtshilfe).
