The arrested 25-year-old man, who reportedly worked as a construction worker, did not know each other of the 6 victims in the case. The police believed that the suspect had committed crimes against young female students.

The first case occurred at 1:30 pm on November 11 this year. Four 12-year-old girls were in Shek Kip Mei Central after school. When the four girls saw the situation, they tried to avoid, but the man still walked towards the girl. The four girls were shocked and ran away from the scene.
One of the girls informed her mother of the incident after returning home, and her mother called the police.
Another case occurred at about 7:30 in the morning on November 19, when two 9-year-old and 10-year-old girls were going to school together, passing by the platform on the first floor of Pak Tin Village, Shek Kip Mei, they were followed by someone behind them.
When the two girls turned to check, a local man lowered his shorts and showed his body directly.

The police received the report and followed up the investigation. The Sham Shui Po Police District Task Force and criminal investigators conducted intelligence analysis and searched the closed-circuit television in the area. They identified a target man and arrested him at Pak Tin, Shek Kip Mei at about 8 o'clock this morning. Across the village, the 25-year-old man involved in the case was arrested for "undermining public decency."
After further investigation, the police found that the arrested man had taken three female students’ skirts and himself once on the stairs of public housing estates and the elevators of the MTR station between May and June this year. A photo of the body exposed in a MTR carriage.
