An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale struck this morning, Kerman Province, southeast of Iran.
The Iranian Fars News Agency quoted the Geophysical Institute of Tehran University as saying that "the tremor hit the outskirts of the city of Faryab, south of Kerman province, and its epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers."
The Foundation indicated that there have been no reports so far of human or material losses as a result of the tremor.
