The young woman, Sarah Hammad Al-Rakkad, who came to the city of Qamishli from Deir ez-Zor governorate, was fascinated by the hobby of recycling materials and re-manufacturing them to turn them into a job that achieves a good source of income.
Speaking to SANA’s reporter about the beginning of her experience, Sarah said: “I weaved a toy house out of kilim threads, which was the first step in my work journey. It was a successful experience through which I determined my path to specialist By making handbags and developing work by following up on websites specialized in recycling operations.”
She pointed out that the first bag that was recycled won the admiration and encouragement of family and friends, so her neighbors began sending bags and old hand-made butchers to them to re-manufacture them into beautiful models, molds and distinctive stitches, pointing out that this profession has become a private project that seeks to develop and expand it and secure it with a financial income that contributed to the stability of its conditions.
