The “Sawa Youth” project of Al-Mawadda Charitable Association in Al-Hasakah carried out recreational activities for children with disabilities at Abdullah Al-Salman Stadium in the center of Al-Hasakah city.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the project manager, Ayham al-Hamdush, stated that the aim of the activities carried out under the supervision of the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor is to reach children with disabilities and to put a smile on their faces.
In turn, the activities coordinator Lawrence Fares stated that it took place with the participation of 32 children with disabilities, and it included a silent theatrical show, musical performances, games, distribution of gifts, winter clothes and competitions, stressing the continuation of the “Sawa Youth” project to reach these groups in order to support them and provide what is necessary for their care.
Buthaina Al Damen, the mother of the child Ammar, expressed her happiness with the atmosphere of joy experienced by children with disabilities who desperately need this space to relieve and integrate them, calling for the intensification of such activities and the provision of support and care to them.
