Al-Hasakah-SANA
The water cut off from the city of Al-Hasakah and its western countryside continues for the fifth consecutive day as a result of the encroachments by the Turkish occupation mercenaries on the electrical lines feeding the Allouk water station in the occupied countryside of Ras Al-Ain.
And the director of the Water Corporation, Mahmoud El-Okla, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the electrical supply to the Allouk water station, coming from the Darbasiyah power station, is still cut off for the fifth day in a row, as a result of the major encroachments on electrical lines by terrorist groups, which led to the complete suspension of the Allouk station and its exit from The service was resumed, and nearly one million citizens in the city of Al-Hasakah and the western countryside were deprived of the only water source.
Al-Okla indicated that the Water Corporation, in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch and a number of humanitarian organizations, continues to secure the drinking water needs of the people in the city of Hasaka by constantly filling the water tanks scattered in the streets and gardens, pending the restart of the Allouk water station.
