A heavy gamer laptop, but with a lot of style
The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is not a laptop that one can easily take for a walk because it is quite heavy.
However, we get a strong team, very stylish and compact.
In fact, it's just the RGB lights on this laptop that give it a distinctive touch.
In addition to the keyboard that has lighting in four different zones, the design incorporates an LED bar on the lower front part of the equipment whose function is purely decorative.

This is a 15.6-inch laptop.
It is a device that when closed has a considerable thickness of just over two centimeters.
However, the ASUS ROG Strix G15 offers a good number of user ports located on the left and rear side, although we do miss more USB-C ports.
Screen and sound
The screen is an IPS with 400 nits brightness, very good contrast and color reproduction that is very enjoyed when playing games and playing content.
Something that I liked about this device is that it has a short response time of 3 ms.
The behavior of the panel can be managed from the ASUS Armor Create application, being able to modify the use profile or color temperature, among others.
In any case, it is a fairly well calibrated panel to enjoy right out of the box.

Although when using a gamer computer the usual thing is to resort to good headphones that give us more concentration, precision in the microphone and some isolation.
Despite this, it is appreciated that this equipment has Dolby Atmos technology, achieving an effective surround sound.
Keyboard and touchpad
I liked the keyboard for its comfort and how good it felt to touch typing or playing games.
The fact that the movement keys within the games are highlighted helped me in especially long sessions in 'Overwatch' or 'Fortnite'.
The touchpad is slightly smaller than that of other gamer computers.
Cursor control is reliable without issue, but scrolling is slower than I would like.
