The Azerbaijani State Border Agency announced that a military helicopter crashed during a training mission today, causing deaths and injuries among its members.
The Russian RIA Novosti news agency quoted the authority as saying in a statement, "A military helicopter belonging to it crashed this morning and crashed while it was on a training flight mission in the Garahyabat airfield in the Khizi region, which led to deaths and injuries among its crew members."
The leadership of the State Border Authority and the Public Prosecutor's Office rushed to the scene and the authorities launched joint investigations.
