(ANSA) - BARI, 30 NOV - 50-year-old Cosimo Damiano Bologna died after two weeks of agony, brutally attacked for intervening in defense of a friend persecuted by a 36-year-old man, then arrested a few days later for stalking and for the beating.

    The victim was in the company of her friend in front of a bar in the center of Canosa di Puglia, in the province of Barletta Andria Trani, when the attacker would return to annoy and insult the woman and then hit Bologna violently and repeatedly in the face leaving him on the ground bloody and unconscious.
