The customs subsequently seized a total of 1,688 suspected unsafe hair dyes from wholesalers, reminding the public to pay more attention to their safety when using such products.

According to the Customs, it had received a report earlier that there were suspected to be a number of unsafe hair dyes on the market. The officers immediately investigated and tried to buy them from a retailer in Central.
