Deir Ezzor-SANA
The Directorate of Education in Deir Ezzor has completed maintenance and rehabilitation work for five schools in the eastern countryside of the governorate that were damaged as a result of the attacks of terrorist organizations.
The Director of Education, Jassem Al-Fraih, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the directorate conducted maintenance and rehabilitation works for schools in cooperation with international organizations, namely Ibn Zaydoun School, Buqrus Fawqani in the town of Buqrus, and Ismail Tohme in the city of Al-Mayadin, and Mahakan High School and Al-Sari School in the town of Dublan, and they were put into service.
Al-Fraih indicated that work is also underway to maintain the Al-Mamoun School in Al-Bukamal and the updated Mahkan School, to be entered into service as soon as the maintenance work is completed.
The number of schools that were maintained during the current year in Deir ez-Zor governorate reached 27, while 354 schools were put into service, according to Al-Fraih.
