Stick this sticker everywhere to facilitate the access of victims or witnesses to the police, using a smartphone.
1000 university stickers
"By flashing this QR code, after having mentioned your postal code, you are directly put in contact with an investigator trained to listen", details the colonel. This national premiere, unveiled Tuesday in La Rochelle, received the support of Marlène Schiappa, Minister Delegate in charge of Citizenship: "I asked for the generalization of this device which I wish to be national and extended to all gendarmerie groups".
The University of La Rochelle was the first to enter into a partnership.
“1,000 stickers will be affixed in the most frequented places such as the toilets and distributed to students,” suggests Élodie Chazalon, the vice-president in particular in charge of equality.
The gendarmes who also convinced the mayors of the department now want to distribute this sticker as much as possible to institutions, communities and private partners.
“We must free the floor.
This sticker also has a dissuasive role with regard to aggressors, it reminds us that we are present, ”insists the head marshal Guillaume Gauthier, who has been working on this idea since last year.
