In order to make room for young literary talents in poetry and story and to shed light on the sacrifices of the martyrs and wounded of the Syrian Arab Army, Watan Group announced the launch of a competition for the most beautiful national text in story and poetry.
The winners of the competition receive three prizes for the first three places in both literary genres, in addition to certificates of honor, while the participating texts are submitted within a deadline no later than the 10th of next December at the group’s offices in Jaramana, Douma and the guard housing or on its official page on social media.
The director of Watan Group, Engineer Majd Imad, told SANA that the aim of the competition is to strengthen the identity of national belonging among the youth, support the talented, and emphasize the real foundations of writing stories and poetry.
