The trial of Galein Maxwell, who is suspected of pimping young girls for convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, opened yesterday (Monday) in New York City and now evidence is being uncovered about the nature of the actions of someone who has earned the nickname "Epstein's Madame."
Prosecutor Lara Pomerantz, in the opening speech, described Maxwell's conduct and said: "She identified young women and handed them over to Epstein. She reassured them and made them feel safe, so that they would be sexually abused by a middle-aged man. Sometimes she was in the room when it happened."
Pomeranian claimed that Maxwell was not Epstein's junior employee but the "lady in charge of the house" who made sure all the forbidden acts happened behind closed doors.
The lawsuit further claimed that Epstein and Maxwell had developed a series of rules and laws in order to continue the acts of sexual assault.
"First they gained access to the young girls. They bought their trust in all sorts of ways. Then they got used to feeling comfortable about having a sexual relationship with Epstein. The defendant massaged Epstein in the presence of the girls and then encouraged them to do the same. But what happened in Epstein's massage room was not. There was a massage but abuse and sexual assault. "
Maxwell's lawyer, Bobby Sternheim, responded to the prosecution's claims, saying: "Since Hava offered the fruit of the tree of knowledge to man, women are accused of doing things that men. Galein Maxwell is not Jeffrey Epstein, she is not like him in any way."
On the other hand, Sternheim tried to defend Epstein's character and said that “he also had many positive qualities.
Epstein committed suicide in the holding cell in August 2019 just hours before he committed suicide, thousands of documents were published concerning suspicions against the sex offender, who had previously been convicted of trafficking minors for sexual purposes.
