Recent political developments between Israel and Turkey, especially after the Oknin couple's arrest and the statements attributed to President Erdogan, indicate a thaw in relations between the two countries, with the third country assisting in this being the United Arab Emirates.

It has played in the past and currently plays a very cardinal and even crucial role in the stability of the region as well as in restoring Turkey-Israel relations to what they were before the Marmara affair, in terms of security, politics and economics.

It is no coincidence that just now the United Arab Emirates, which has one of the most stable and powerful economies in the world, has decided to establish a dedicated fund for investments in the collapsing Turkish economy.

The emirates have budgeted more than $ 9 billion to maintain stability in Turkey, in addition to increasing their involvement at another point on the globe.

The UAE, in its economic capabilities, has been trying for several years to operate and influence in the Middle East.

This began before the signing of Abraham's agreements with Israel, and in fact the agreements only revealed the depth of strategic ties and coordination, especially security, between the two countries and how close they are.

It is no coincidence that the one who was chosen to play the most important role, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Israel, was Muhammad Mahmoud al-Hajah, one of the most promising young people in the Arab world and one who influences diplomacy and its foreign relations.

In recent developments it is worth emphasizing the relations between the United Arab Emirates and Syria.

Recently, the UAE's foreign minister, Abdullah bin Zayed, headed a delegation of senior Emirates officials with Syrian ruler Bashar al-Assad and discussed the assistance they would receive to get him out of the civil war crisis.

Although most Arab regimes severed ties with Assad, the Emirates' visit appears to be a kind of "recognition" of his victory and the weakening of the opposition, which cries out against inheriting the presidential regime and finding refuge in Turkey and some Arab countries.

Assad was the only Arab ruler to survive the Arab Spring revolution, albeit with Russian and Iranian assistance and the active involvement of Hezbollah.

Following the senior emirate's visit, Jordan's King Abdullah also agreed and received a phone call after a decade-long cut with Assad, which was close to the Bennett and Abdullah summit in Amman, indicating the agreement of most Arab states to return Syria to the Arab League after being ousted.

All of these moves - before and behind the scenes - are supposed to be translated into practice to improve Turkish-Israeli relations led by the United Arab Emirates.

It will start with the huge economic investments, but will very quickly get to the political issues, and I would not be surprised if a summit meeting is already planned between the leaders of the three countries.
