The designated climate and economics minister and vice chancellor Robert Habeck has chosen his four top officials.
He has appointed energy
expert Patrick Graichen
, Green MEP
Sven Giegold
and
Udo Philipp
, previously State Secretary in the State Ministry of Finance of Schleswig-Holstein, as permanent state secretaries.
A party spokeswoman confirmed this.
SPIEGEL had previously reported that Habeck
would like to bring
the former Hamburg Senator and Green member of the Bundestag
Anja Hajduk
as head of office, who, among other things, should keep in touch with other ministries for him.
As state secretaries, the four organize the daily work in the ministry.

Graichen is supposed to take over the post of Secretary of State for Energy.
He is currently still Executive Director of the influential Agora Energiewende think tank and previously worked for the Federal Environment Ministry for more than ten years, including as a personal advisor to the State Secretary and as head of the division for climate and energy policy.
Sven Giegold is one of the co-founders of Attac, has sat for the Greens in the European Parliament since 2009 and led the German Greens twice as part of the top duo in the European election campaign.
During the coalition negotiations on a traffic light alliance, he was part of the ten-person core team of the Greens and sat at the table in many decisive rounds.
Udo Philipp is currently State Secretary in the green state finance ministry of Schleswig-Holstein.
He holds a degree in economics and worked as a personal advisor to the Federal Minister of Economics in the nineties.
According to a spokeswoman for the Greens, which members of parliament are to become parliamentary state secretaries in the future will only be announced with the entire personnel table.
The three parties of the traffic light alliance want to elect the chancellor in the week of December 6th.
However, among other things, the approval of the green base for the coalition agreement is still pending.
The membership decision is in progress.
