Russia's Baltic Shipyard has announced the completion of the testing program for the world's most powerful icebreaker.
Sputnik reported that the factory had conducted the final test of the ship "Siberia", which is intended to pave the way for ships transiting the North Seas amid ice blocks and is powered by nuclear energy in the Gulf of Finland.
The ship "Siberia" belongs to the class of icebreakers 22220, which is considered the most powerful icebreaker in the world today, and is capable of slicing an ice block 3 meters thick, 173.3 meters long and 34 meters wide.
