Ingredients
For tomato sauce with chickpeas and corn:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, peeled and chopped
2 as a tomato paste of yachin
A heap of sweet paprika (spicy paprika is also possible)
2 tomatoes cut into small cubes
2 cups
½ Yachin's huge chickpea box
1 box of ether from Yachin's field
For chicken and sweet potato patties:
500 grams of chicken breast or freshly ground chicken
1 small sweet potato (about 250 grams), peeled and finely grated
6 heaping tablespoons of bread crumbs
1 egg M
A handful of chopped parsley leaves
Salt
Ground black pepper
For serving
White rice or couscous

How to make chicken patties in a rich sauce?

Prepare the sauce:
Heat oil in a wide, flat pot.
Add the onion and fry for 3-4 minutes over a high flame while stirring.
Add the tomato paste and paprika, mix for 20 seconds then add the chopped tomatoes.
Stir a little.
2 Pour the glasses of water and bring to a boil.
Season with salt and black pepper.
Add the chickpeas and corn to the sauce and cook over a medium flame while preparing the patties.
3 Prepare the patties: Put the sweet potato in a bowl with the chicken and the rest of the ingredients, mix well and put the mixture well for about 2 minutes.
Using hands, form balls the size of ping pong balls.
4 Place the patties in the pot with the sauce so that it reaches up to 3/4 the height of the patties (if necessary add water).
Bring to a boil, lower the heat, cover the pot and cook over a medium-low flame for 20-35 minutes, until the patties are tender.
Stir occasionally so that all the patties are wrapped in the sauce.
Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning.
5 Serve the patties with rice or couscous.
