The Highways Department confirmed that the resumption of work will not adversely affect the structural safety of the relevant facilities, and the contractor has monitoring measures to continue to ensure structural and operational safety.

The Highways Department continued to point out that the foundation works resumed today, the repair work on the auxiliary roads has been completed, and the settlement index for the scheduled suspension of work will remain unchanged.
