Psyonix has announced that Sideswipe will be a specially adapted version for mobile and touch screens, and as you can see, the camera angle has changed its position to allow players to effectively control the cars and maintain ball control.
According to the company, Sideswipe will present a much more friendly and casual gaming experience that even novice players will be able to enjoy.
Sidswipe's game modes will include one - player fights against another player, or two players against two players in two - minute rounds, and will also include a "basketball" mode where players will have to score the ball to the basket and not just score goals in familiar football mode.
The game will also feature player ratings and allow competitive players to play and advance in levels.

The game will be updated regularly and will work in the format of new seasons, with each season introducing comic changes and new content to the game.
Rockets League Sideswipe is available for download through the Google Play Store for Android devices and the App Store for iOS devices, and just like the game version of PC and consoles, it is completely free and based on in-game purchases.

The move comes after Epic Games, which also developed the Battle Royale Fortnite game, acquired Psyonix and has since turned Rocket League's PC and console version into a free game on the Epic Game Store platform to open and expand Rocket League's gaming community.
When Rocket League became free, Epic took care to release an update to the game that would support a cross-platform, which means players on all consoles can play with PC and other platforms, and a mobile version of the game seems to be the next necessary step.
