Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin announced on Twitter on Tuesday, November 30 that the State would take charge of the burial of the 27 migrants who died during the sinking in the Channel of their boat bound for the United Kingdom last Wednesday.

work with the municipalities that agree to welcome the deceased,
" added the Minister of the Interior, specifying that this was a request from President Emmanuel Macron.
