The Russian Direct Investment Fund announced that the UAE Ministry of Health has approved the Russian Sputnik Lite vaccine as a global booster dose against the Corona virus.
Sputnik agency quoted the fund as saying in a statement today, “The Sputnik Lite vaccine as a booster will be available to all residents aged 18 years and over and can be used six months after receiving the second dose of any of the vaccines used in the vaccination program in the Emirates.”
Yesterday, the Russian Gamali Research Center confirmed that the two Russian vaccines, Sputnik and Sputnik Lite, are effective against the Omicron mutant.
