In an exclusive interview with Golf Digest, Tiger Woods spoke publicly about his future in golf for the first time since his car accident this year.

"I think the one thing that's realistic is playing one day on the road, never full time again, but choosing, like Mr. (Ben) Hogan did," Woods told interviewer Henni Koyack.

"You pick a few events a year and you play around that. You practice around that, and you prepare for that. And you play. I think that's how I'm going to have to play from now on," he added.

"It is an unfortunate reality, but it is my reality. And I understand it, and I accept it."

Woods began the remote interview from his South Florida home by walking into the living room with what he called a slight "jerk" in his stride, evidence of the serious leg injuries he sustained in a car accident near Los Angeles. in February.
