Nir Hefetz will continue his testimony on the 2000 case today (Tuesday), as part of Netanyahu's trial.

The testimony of state witness Hefetz, who was a soda man of the Netanyahu family, continued yesterday.

Hefetz finished testifying in the 4000 case and went on to testify in the 2000 case.

One of the highlights of the testimony yesterday was when Hefetz described how he came to the conclusion that he must sign a state witness agreement. "There were physical and other pressures, which increased to monstrous proportions," he said, his voice trembling and he began to cry. The court was forced to stop the testimony for a few minutes to let the object stay for a while. "There is no doubt that the accumulation of conditions I was in the first few weeks had an effect," he continued. "It's like surgery and anesthesia. You weigh your independent judgment and do what the lawyer tells you. I felt weak cognitively and physically. Towards the end of day 15 I felt I was fit to think for myself again, and I started thinking about it. You ask me about my state of mind. - I did not think there was a legal problem beyond what is called the 'disruption meeting'. At no point did I think I was mediating bribery, it's delusional. "Zvi Hauser was in Japan, and he recommended Eli Zohar."

Hefetz described how he began working with Netanyahu in May-June 2009: "Meetings were held in Balfour and Caesarea, where conditions and status were agreed upon."

The prosecutor who investigated Hefetz on behalf of the prosecution in the 2000 case, Adv. Dr. Alon Gildin of the Tax and Economics Prosecutor's Office, wondered why Hefetz requested the presence of Sarah Netanyahu, and Hefetz replied: "I estimated that without a green light it would not have passed."

Regarding the meeting between Mozes, Netanyahu and Hefetz, he said: "Bibi wanted to hold it at Zeev Fortress. He wanted to convey the message that he could make the weekend edition of 'Israel Today' 90-80 thousand (copies 11), and not 60-50 Thousand".

Hefetz was asked about a news item that was supposed to come up, about the recruitment of Yair Netanyahu in 2009.

"A list of questions was received from two reporters. It included statements on social networks of a non-politically correct nature. When the list of questions arrived, Yair and his mother were on a trip to London. There was a mega-drama surrounding the article. People were recruited to testify about Yair's character," Hefetz added.

He explained that the same people who claimed to have been recruited in favor of Yair Netanyahu, sat with him and the lawyers.
